ABSTRACT
The article studies and mainly focuses on the issues of revival, formation and development of one of the important segments of the Ukrainian military press, namely, operational, local “brigade” print publications (newsletters, bulletins, etc.) of the military units and formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The authors analyze the pattern of the practice of the Operational Command “West”. In all of its brigade units the activities of local “brigade” (military front) print media were initiated and established (during 2015-2018) within the process of military-civilian partnership with the reformed print media of the local distribution.
The research represents the results of the expert survey of military personnel and offers the content-information structure of such military publications.
Based on consideration of the legal aspects of the activity of these print military publications and its practical results, the authors recommend the amendments to the press legislation aimed at simplifying the processes of legalization (registration) military press and providing for its proper functioning after termination of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Ukraine.
Keywords: print media; press officer; “brigade” (military) newspaper; editorial staff of reformed media; military civil partnership.
